Inspired by Julene Harrison


A friend pointed out the work of Julene Harrison one day, and by the time they finished showing me their favorite pieces, I had bought an exacto knife. Julene began as a textile designer, but turned to paper cutting for general occasions and special requests. Check out some of her pieces:
I love her style and precision! her website is chalk full of inspiration that got me to sit down for four hours - cutting and drawing and slicing. Here's my simpler take:

  2. Thanks Bubble My Licorice! I'm currently looking for the right frame to put it in. Also, I screenprinted a sky blue piece of paper to go behind it as the background.
