There are only a few things you need to do to have a successful submission:
Guest Post Details
Find: a great piece of inspiration and create an everyday diy from it. This can be one element such as color palette, technique, concept or materials, or the entire piece. Please recognize that there is a space between plagiarism and inspiration. Instead of copying the project verbatim, use it as a source of creativity.
Email: me a link to your inspiration as well as details about your own project or idea.
Capture: clear photos of your project. This can be a tutorial or a finished product. Please take the time to make your pictures as beautiful as the creativity that went behind them. A tip for making photos clear and well-lit is to take them outside in a shady spot with a white poster board as a backdrop. This makes it easy to get lots of light without any shadows. Also, please do not add text or excessive cropping to your photos before sending them to me. I will add or edit them to fit.
Write: a brief introduction to your inspiration of choice as well as directions to share.
Be sure to email me about any questions or help you might need. I have a growing readership as well as a high number of daily pageviews, so you will be happy with the publicity from sharing your project.
Sidenote: If I ever use any part of your post to promote my blog's activity, you will always be credited first and foremost. I also reserve the right to accept, reject or edit any photos or posts to fit the style of my blog.
