Many of my art obsessions come and go within a few days. Weaving is an itch that I just can't get out of my head! I'm always sketching new designs and trying to get my weft strings to stay even. My office walls are filling up with tapestries!

I get to teach an amazing bunch of girls at church each Sunday. For a mutual project I thought it would be fun to share my new interest with them on a tiny scale. I was amazed how creative and innovative they were!

At the end of the night I gathered up all of their leftover yarn with the plan to toss it. As I was cleaning out my yarn bag later that night I realized how I could use their scraps in my next piece! I love it because it reminds me about all of the sweet girls that I have gotten to know - each one is very different but together and when they get together it is so much fun to be around them!
