Layered Macrame Project

I love knotting with extra thick rope. This project showcases the chunkiness with extra big knots and beautiful tassels. If you want to learn more about the basic macrame knots (so you can follow along more easily) head to my macrame class HERE.

The rope I am using is the 9mm rope from Niroma Studio. The lengths I mention are estimates - sometimes people knot tighter or looser and run out of material, but you can always add new lengths on if you need to! You can also use a 12mm 3 ply rope and untwist it to have three separate strands. If you want to make a miniature version of this project you can definitely use thinner rope.
