Pibione Pattern

Are you ready for a fun grid pattern to incorporate into your weaving? It can be used with twill, locker hooking, frame weaving, or my favorite - pibione. Scroll to the bottom to get the pattern and don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter!

My love for pibione weaving runs deep - especially when it’s used with extra chunky yarn like this ReLove Merino in the color, Curry, from Love Fest Fibers. If you’ve gotten my Pibione kit from The Crafters Box, you’ve worked with this lovely yarn in pibione before. A few quick tips: the loom needs to be double warped, and you need a thin yellow yarn to weave in between each row of thick. Follow the pattern, and adjust it according to how many warp strings you have. I also like to use a skewer to hold my loops in place for each row!

If you want to move on with your pibione skills, you can get my intermediate pibione class right here on my website. I will teach you how to plan your own pattern, how to set up your warp and how to use more than one color!
